The initiative for ecological camping
Vacation with nature
Who we are
Camping is a vacation in nature, ECOCAMPING is a vacation with nature. For more than 25 years ECOCAMPING has been consulting and coaching campsites on their way to more sustainability. Sustainable companies are characterized by sustainable, environmentally friendly and socially responsible management. The basic idea of ECOCAMPING is to combine economy and ecology in the camping industry.
“We are the European Sustainable Camping Initiative. Environmental protection pays off! Businesses with ECOCAMPING are both economically more successful and more resource-efficient and thus more environmentally friendly than those without ECOCAMPING.”
- Marco Walter (Co-founder of ECOCAMPING)
What we offer
With the ECOCAMPING management system we accompany campsites on their way to more sustainability. Quality, guest satisfaction and the economic success of the company are important to us.
Would you like to expand, renovate or build a new campsite? ECOCAMPING is at your side with its know-how and wealth of experience. We also support companies in the certification process of further environmental awards. We also offer in-house and online seminars for further operational development.
ECOCAMPING honors campsites for their exemplary commitment to environmental protection and nature conservation with the ECOCAMPING award.
All campsites with the ECOCAMPING award are connected to the ECOCAMPING network. For this network, ECOCAMPING offers regular seminars and workshops, provides expert information, offers support for current issues and strengthens communication and exchange among each other.
