For more than 25 years, ECOCAMPING has been advising and supporting campsites on their path to greater sustainability.
ECOCAMPING supports camping businesses in making their offerings more nature-friendly and resource-efficient. For more than 25 years, ECOCAMPING has been advising and supporting camping businesses in establishing and developing environmental and sustainability management systems, including energy and water efficiency, waste prevention, biodiversity and fair working conditions. Our goal is to combine ecological responsibility, social fairness and economic stability in camping tourism – this combination of economy and ecology is the basic idea behind ECOCAMPING.
We are a European initiative that has been supporting camping businesses for more than 20 years in the introduction and further development of environmental and sustainability management. ECOCAMPING helps campsites to systematically conserve resources such as energy and water and reduce their environmental impact.

What we offer
With the ECOCAMPING management system (award), we support campsites in establishing and developing structured environmental and sustainability management – from legal compliance and resource efficiency to biodiversity, fair working conditions and guest communication.The focus is equally on quality, guest satisfaction and the economic success of the business.
Would you like to expand, renovate or build a new campsite? ECOCAMPING is at your side with its expertise and wealth of experience. We also support businesses in the certification process for further environmental awards. We also offer in-house and online seminars for operational development.
ECOCAMPING Award
ECOCAMPING awards the ECOCAMPING label to campsites that meet the ECOCAMPING standard with its binding criteria on environmental protection, nature conservation, resource conservation, management and social responsibility.
ECOCAMPING Network
To become better together!
All campsites with the ECOCAMPING award are connected to the ECOCAMPING network. For this network, ECOCAMPING offers regular seminars and workshops, provides expert information, offers support for current issues and strengthens communication and exchange among each other.
